In order to represent the face convincingly in either a literal or exaggerated sense, it is necessary to observe its variations, constants and visual anchors. Louise will take you through a series of exercises and experiments examining features and proportions of the human face whilst trying out a number of drawing techniques. You'll use drawing paper, charcoal, rags, rubbers, your hands and a pencil. WHAT'S INCLUDED The session includes all materials and equipment, tuition, source material and studio space. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING The session includes all materials and equipment. You will need to wear suitable clothing (dark clothing is ideal), bring a hand towel and any refreshments that you require throughout the day (Narberth has takeaway coffee and tea plus plenty of lunch options too).
