ONE-DAY COLOUR WORKSHOP - SAT

Develop your pure colour and mixing skills in a small friendly group

EndedLawrenny

DESCRIPTION

4 places max 10am-2.30pm WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING This is a fun day where we'll work carefully with good quality acrylic paint using large brushes, palette knives and rags to see how we can best achieve impact in our work through applying colour. Our experiments will help you to develop an understanding of how best to use colour to achieve impactful results in your own work whether it be abstract, landscape or figurative work. Suitable for beginners and regular painters including those who have already participated in my previous one-day colour workshop. Other dates available. WHAT IT INCLUDES The price of the workshop includes all materials & equipment and tuition except brushes. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING Please bring along a 1-2” paint brush (this could be a good quality decorators brush), something like a number 8 long filbert or round and maybe one smaller one although not essential. I will have some brushes available. You’ll need to wear suitable clothing and bring lunch. Tea & coffee making facilities are available and the bike hut will be open for you to purchase fresh barista coffee. VENUE This workshop takes place in my new studio just outside Lawrenny. WHERE TO BUY BRUSHES West of Wales art supplies on Market Street in Haverfordwest is a fantastic place to browse good quality brushes and other artists' materials and a chance to talk through your requirements. You can also get brushes on-line.
