WORKSHOPS & COURSES
ONE-DAY COLOUR WORKSHOP
Develop your pure colour and mixing skills in a small group
- Starts Sep 17Starts Sep 17
- 60 British pounds£60
6 places max in socially distanced spaces. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING This is a fun day where we'll work carefully with high quality acrylic paint. We'll work with energy using large brushes, palette knives and rags to see how we can best achieve impact in our work through applying colour in distinct layers. These experiments will help you to develop an understanding of how best to use colour to achieve impactful results in your own work whether it be abstract, landscape or figurative work. WHAT IT INCLUDES The price of the workshop includes all materials & equipment (except brushes), tuition and refreshments. If you would like to bring your own kit as well as brushes, a list will be sent out on receipt of your booking. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING Brushes are always best looked after by their owners - therefore please bring along a range of large brushes including: a 1-2” paint brush (this could be a good quality decorators brush), something like a number 8 long filbert and a number 4 long filbert. You’ll need to wear suitable clothing. WHERE TO BUY BRUSHES: The brushes I have suggested above are all available from West of Wales art supplies on Market Street in Haverfordwest (see Jeff). You can also get them on-line.
You can cancel your booking with a full refund up to one month before the course or workshop start date. After this point refunds will be at Louise's discretion and will depend upon your place being filled by another participant. Please note that the price shown is per person and that the session requires at least five participants for it to go ahead. If for whatever reason this session is postponed or cancelled an alternative date and or workshop or course will be offered.
