One of Louise's original Waterways exhibition paintings from 2021, reworked, this painting depicts a iconic view of Tenby from South Beach.

Oil on chunky canvas. Unframed with sides painted single dark colour.

“In WATERWAYS I’ve tried to capture the feeling I had when I was there, the impact it had on me, in that moment, in that light, in that place, at that time, using energy, light and colour. I’ve tried to use expressionism, and tried my best to veer away from mannerism.

Each painting in WATERWAYS was created using a brush or palette knife and sometimes both. This is a continuation of the method I used to create DREAMSCAPES in 2019, an exhibition of abstract expressionism.

Approx Image Size: 30x30"

Hanging suggestion

This painting would stand out beautifully on any neutral or white painted wall, natural stone, concrete or brick, providing an extra 'window' out of any room.  Best hung with some natural or LED light across the surface to bring out the colours and tones.

This painting can be hung unframed or you might like to consider a frame of natural oak or another suitable mid-tone wood.
